This document specifies methods to a) mimic IEEE 1394 infrastructure (transactions, isochrony, stream data, configuration ROM and CSR architecture) using the facilities of IEEE Std 802.15.3-2003 and b) implement IEEE P1394.1 bridge behaviors in the same domain. The methods are compatible with the simultaneous use of an IEEE 802.15.3 piconet by other protocols, e.g., Internet protocol.
